SEARCHING! We are actively sharing the vision of Sacred Paws with the community as we search for the special property that will become the home of Sacred Paws. We hope to either purchase the property with donated funds or align with an impact donor who wishes their property to be put towards the highest good. Learn more here.
SUCCESS! On Monday, February 10th, the Sacred Paws Dog Sanctuary officially became a 5013c non-profit! This opens the door to fundraising and land procurement. Grateful to Sheree Cannon of and her expert leadership.
BANK ACCOUNT IS OPEN! The official Sacred Paws bank account is now open thanks to a generous donation from a devoted supporter! Spud shares his paw of approval :-)

BOARD FORMED! We've assembled a highly dedicated and compassionate Board of Directors who continue to provide guidance and necessary support. Grateful!
Sanctuary Goals
Once the land is secured, Sacred Paws will grow into a vibrant sanctuary where:

Art & animal therapy help children and adults heal trauma and rediscover joy

Community gardens and land stewardship programs teach sustainable care for the land

Workshops, retreats, and special events bring the community together to reconnect with nature and purpose

Every part of the sanctuary will be built with intention including eco-friendly and wildfire resistant construction, solar energy, regenerative landscaping, and eco-conscious design. This is healing by example.
